Raised in east Los Angeles, this California native is out to set the world on fire while advocating for greater gender equality. A passionate storyteller who started acting at the age of six under the stage name of Cheryl Rodes.
Rodes has her Bachelors from UC Irvine, in Theater with an emphasis in Playwriting, and her Masters from USC in Writing for Film and Television. She directs projects with a female focus, tough women who navigate the world from the survivor mindset.
She believes that we are the change, we must create it and be an active participants in designing the world we want to live in. Rodes sits on the Board of several non-profits, AlzOut, The New Hollywood and Women of Cinematic Arts.
